I thought FF was about on par with the first two X-Men movies. Of course, it seems my opinion of the X-Men movies is considerably lower than most. Basically, I don't regret spending my $8 on it, had fun while I was there, and don't care whether I ever see it again or not.

I'd like to see a Spiderman or Daredevil movie with the Punisher.

The Punisher is a psycho with guns. You can see that in seventeen bazillion other movies.

MInd you, Venom is a psycho with teeth, but I'm not particularly fond of that villain choice either.

They ditched so MUCH of the comic book story that from the begining I was set against it

I have not read the run,but I am told they didn't so much drop the comic book story as pick up the story from the Ultmate FF run.
