Fantastic Four 2

Hmmm...Namor? That would certainly be interesting. Then again, they might be going for a Sue/Silver Surfer hook up.

Oh please lets hope its Namor!

A Sue-Surfer hook up would be too sucky for words, the Surfers got a rep to look after:)

That being said I'm not sure bringing Galacus in to devour the Earth is going to be very appealing to the average movie watching public. And will there also be Uatu?

At least an Atlantean Eco-Terrorist with wings on his ankles makes sense:)

Nothing wrong with existing in a vacuum. Been meaning to watch Wolverine without all them distracting mutant schoolkids.

Ooo, I'd be all over that if the first minute consisted of Wolvie standing in the middle of the desert and then a nuke went off right on top of him, and then the rest of the movie could actually be about X-men!

Never said there was anything wrong with it. I just like a little variety, that's all.
Yeah, okay. But variety tend to be one-shots, with a very slim chance of turning it into a franchise (i.e., sequels).

Yeah, it's about time Kid Cyclops get the spotlight as the leader of the aging X-Men!

At least with Uatu, it'd give you someone to explain the whole thing quickly, so you didn't have to devote too much time to it. :)

As for me, I liked F4, though I'm not a big fan of the actual comic. It was the one that felt the most "super hero" to me, aside from maybe Spiderman, which was more about personal choices and such.

I mean, XMen was fun enough, but really just mutant war stuff.

Maybe it was just the Thing saving the fire truck, who knows.

well, I never read superhero comics when I was a kid, so I have to judge the movies on their merits alone. FF did seem to lack something compared to Spiderman and X-men.... not as strong of writing for certain... it still wasn't really a bad movie, just not up there with the best of them... I bought the DVD... I have to say, I think one of the best things about the movie was Jessica Alba in a tight suit... :)

The first FF movie was really awful. It threw all the elements that I hate from Ultimate FF in there and added in a poor script and weak acting. At least I don't have to worry about having my hopes dashed by the sequal. Hopefully it has good eye candy.

I'll see it on Netflix when it comes out eventually.

The part about F4 that just destroyed it for me was Doctor Doom.

Doom is a wizard in power armor. Anything else I just dont want to watch.

It depends on how much money they make :)

I'd like to see a Spiderman or Daredevil movie with the Punisher.

As for FF. I think the first one sucked, the acting was poor, the effects so so..and the script horrible. They ditched so MUCH of the comic book story that from the begining I was set against it :)

I might rent part 2 on video but I won't see it in the theatre.
