Farscape: can anyone sum this up?

BiggusGeekus

That's Latin for "cool"
I was into Farscape the first season, then I stopped getting the Sci-Fi channel. Now I have Sci-Fi again and I'm trying to gear up for the new miniseries. However, I have many questions.

Where did the blue chick go?
Who is that white chick who tries to hunch her shoulders and look tough?
What happened to Earth? A buddy of mine said they found it, but left.
Who are the S&M guys on the ship?
Is it still the original ship?
I'm unclear if Chrichton is still wanted by the Peacekeepers or not.
Are the Peacekeepers human? I thought they weren't but the ads and some of the more recent shows I've seen kind of confuse me.

Pointing me to a good fan site is probably a better use of time than answering all of this. So, do you know of any good fan sites?

Her character died, though she did so in a wormhole so perhaps she isn't quite dead yet.

Uh, you mean with the blueish gray skin? That's Chiana, a more "sensual" person. Or do you mean Jool the screamer? Or Suloco? the other alien chick?

Via wormhole technology they got to visit but decided to leave to keep the Peacekeepers/others from finding and attacking Earth.
Who are the S&M guys on the ship?
Hmm. You mean Scorpius and the Peacekeepers? Scorpius is half Scarran, thus his strange appearance and is a high level Peacekeeper scientist.
Is it still the original ship?
Yes.
I'm unclear if Chrichton is still wanted by the Peacekeepers or not.
Oh yes. Scorpius, Scorpy familially is after Chrichton for wormhole technology.

Peacekeepers are 'sebacian'. The are similar to humans but different.

Actress Virginia Hey started to have problems with the makeup and had to leave the show for health reasons.

Not "looking tough", it's kind of a crouching posture thing.

Yes.

Yes, but because he has Wormhole technology and the Sebacians (Peacekeepers) want to use it as a weapon against the Scarrans, who ALSO want him for the same reason.

Sebacians (spelling?) are NOT human, although they are extremely close, genetically speaking.

Oh yeah, in leaving Earth, they collapsed the wormhole, destroying a Scarran ship that was headed there. Now he doesn't know if he can ever get back.

Hoping The Peacekeeper Wars does well and they get another miniseries or two out of the deal, at very least.

My understanding was that at the end of the series, John and the Peacekeepers (Sebaceans) were more or less reconciled, and until Scorpy ran into a real problem, he was going to leave Chrichton alone. Of course, an all-out war with the Scarrans would easily qualify as big enough to overcome Scorpy's scruples.

I'd be happy to provide a short version of "Here's what happened, generally speaking, over the entirety of the show", but that would require huge use of spoilers. Please let me know what you want and how much detail. :)

Actually if he's watching the current arc then he might be confused by Talyn, which is the offspring of Moia, the original ship.

Everyone is still after Crichton. Even the Peacekeepers. They tried to get at him through Aeryn, his friends and every other means. Many questions to be answered this weekend...

OK, after reading this thread and a couple of fan sites I think the general gist is ->
Crighton had the knowledge of how to use wormholes placed in his brain by the ancients (I don't know who they are, why they did this, or how it happened). The Peacekeepers/Sebaceans want his knowledge to make weapons as do the lizardlike Scarrans. The Peacekeepers are interested in Earth to get at Crighton, the Scarrans are interested in Earth because they need the flowers that can grow there.

Crighton has blown up the wormhole to Earth after telling Earth how much trouble they are in (and we ignore him, woe the folly of man). Aeryn is preggers, the short blue guy (name forgotten) is no closer to becoming emperor again, the majority of the other character threads are more-or-less addressed. There has been a lot of playing hide-the-sausage and the other ship is still out there with the guy who started out being the bad guy but now isn't.

Humans, Sebeceans, and Ionians (sp?) are very close genetically speaking for reasons that I've reisgned myself to not finding out.

Does that about cover it?
