D&D 5E Favored Enemy needs a simple Damage +2

I'm playing with the Ranger for five months, am level 11.

I will explain my comparison with these 3 classes:

Fighting Styles (Fighter)
Land's Stride (Druid)
Summon Spells (Druid)
Nature Spells (Druid)
Vanish (limited Rogue's Cunning Action)
Feral Senses (like Rogue's Blindsenses)
Hunter's Evasion (Rogue)
Hunters Uncanny Dodge (Rogue)
Foes Slayer (like Precision Attack manouver - Fighter)
Hit Dice D10 (Fighter)

among others.

Can you get all that on 1 PC outside of a ranger?
Because that's the point.

1- Find Steed improves your speed.
2- It's a level 2 spell.
3- There is not a real animal.
4- If you die can be invoked again in the next turn (no need to wait 8 hours).
5- Do not sacrifice your archetype.
6- Depending on the DM you can invoke other mounts beyond horse (a friend invokes a Grifon with higher slots).

The speed is only good part. The steed can't fight well and only the mastiff has out of combat ability. Find Steed is weak. The paladn in my group doesn't even use it anymore.

And paladins lacks beast sense for the broken spying.

And bard's brokenness is not a hit on the ranger. The bard is just crazy. But The bard cannot duplicate ranger until level 14th and it can only be a 75% ranger. Fewer HP. Less damage. Lower AC. Lower Wisdom. Lower Dex. Lower Str. Sacrificing your brokeness to mimic the ranger. And you have to take the war college.

For a Bard ranged/spellcaster do not need high HP, AC, etc.
He can use Conjure Volley (for attack) or Tree Stride (to flee) 9x per day, Ranger only 2x.

Not sacrifice archetype too.
In other editions may rangers used the companion to mount more than to any other function.
Find Steed's it.

The real value is that the steed can take the Help action for free every round. Your horse rears up and kicks at the foe, granting you advantage on your next attack. The beastmasters stupid wolf can't do anything unless its ordered to.

Without HP and AC, you can't scout and take out enemy socuts.

What about beast sense, find traps, conjure woodland beings, conjure animals, alarm, hunter's mark, water breathing, wind wall, darkvision...

Find Steed's it.

But mount is all it can do.
Can't fight well.
Can't scout.
Can't defend the escort.
Can't track unless you pick mastiff.
Can't fly, burrow, or swim.

Then someone kicks it and it dies because of it's AC 11 and 19 hp and you fall prone and waste your 2nd level spell.
The stupid wolf has better AC and can deal damage and trip as an action or help as a bonus action.

The beastmaster's pet is weak but it is way better that find steed's steed.

It's just a horse for a 2nd level spell.

My friend, the benefit cost of Find Steed is muuuuuuch better.
Beast Master is horrrible.

The Beast Master is weak but not horrible.

The only issue with it is HP (and saves dependent on how your DM rules). If the enemy doesn't attack the companion, they get wrecked if not immune.
