My all time favorite class it the bard. From 2e on (1e bard was too hard to do), I always love the class thats gets overlooked because it seems weak, but is so annoying it becomes a threat.

If I had a second choice it would be the wizard.

trying to combine good warrior with spells/magic

I'm currently one of those annoying half-elf druid/ranger/fighter types :)

It's a shame you don't have a checkbox for "any prestige class" (perhaps you could annoy people by changing dual-classed to that :)?)

The fact that prestige classes don't get a look-in may skew your results a little.

Cheers

That's not really important to me. A prestige fighter is still a fighter, a prestige cleric is still a cleric. No matter how weird the prestige class, it'll fall into one of those. (sorry to any psions that feel left out)

I really enjoy playing wizards, always have, but since 3e I have added Rogue levels and it is even better. My current character is still focused on the Wizardry aspect, but the few levels of Rogue allow me to continue to amaze my fellow party members with the things I can do (evasion is very useful when the enemy spellcaster tries to take you out with an area effect spell).

I have modifed my use of Knock so that when I cast it I must be closely observing the lock - my fellow adventurers are astounded by how many Knock spells I have (most of the time I'm just picking the lock), and I've found Slight of Hand is extremely useful for a Wizard.

My current character is a Samurai/Iajutsu Master Rokugan style. My favorite class depends on my mood. Usually Rogue or Wizard. I have never played a Barbarian or Bard (since 1e).

Wow, thats a healthy responce for Sorcerer. I am so glad. The only pure DnD campaign I have played in I played a Sorcerer. Since then it has been other stuff with other options.

Here is a question I'm asking from looking at the results:

Why is druid at the bottom?

I've played a few and while the class is impressive (decent BAB, good spell casting and the abilities are very neat), I just can't get a good druid concept. They all seem to be the same type of character in my mind which I just can't bring myself to play cause it seems to have been done to death. The Druid is just a specialized Priest and I think that hampers the character concept possibilities.

Actually, I also voted for my favorite class, then realized I was supposed to vote for what I play now.... sorry.

I play a druid currently, but I really like playing rogues. I'm not sure why really. I like just about all classes, but I like rogues the best. I get bored playing fighters.

What is the Class of your current character? If you are playing different classes in more than one game, please pick the classes for each. If you have a multi or dual classed character, select the multi or dual box, then the proper classes.

Thank You

For this poll, I chose my character in the Forgotten Realms game one of our DMs is running, but I am also playing a gun mage/rogue (and possibly cleric :D ) character in another game and a cleric/alienist in a third game.

edit: I just realized that if my gun mage takes levels in cleric, I will be playing a cleric in all three games. :\
