Really hard to say what my favourite is...

As to what I am playing currently ... well, it is a Euthanatos mage. :heh:

Before then I was the GM -- I played "Everything Else" :D

Technically it counts as a fighter, but i'm actually using the Kensai specialty fighter from Dragon #310. Usually i go for spellcasting classes, but this time i wanted something a bit more straightforward.

I am extremely pleased with my LN half-orc ranger 3 / fighter 4 (although currently I am not playing it, and will play another character during next gaming sessions). Generally I much like fighter types who can also get more skills and skill-points than just a simple fighter will (thus ranger is excellent for that). I also like to be able to cast divine spells (thus ranger is also a good class). I love fighters for the choice of feats, while I never played fighters in the Ad&d 2e.

Cleric

Is there really any other choice that's better? :]

That's the one class I really haven't played long enough to get a feel for it. Every time I've wanted to be a cleric, the party has needed me to be something else, and every time the party has needed a cleric, I've wanted to be something else.

Hmmmm, I do have to prepare a backup character for when my current Banewarrens druid snuffs it. Perhaps I should make a cleric.

Usually play multi-class Fighter/Cleric

I noticed that you have Dual-Class and Multi-Class, but these are basically all considered Multi-Class in 3.5e!!! Hence, I was confused on what to choose, since I currently play a Fighter/Cleric, and since this is only two classes, it can be considered a Dual-Class by your poll or in 2ed ADnD.

I usually start with a fighter to get the good feats and high hitpoints, then switch to a Cleric for all the other benefits, including spellcasting. ;)

Currently playing a Shugenja 6 / Fighter 4 / Master Samurai 4 in a Middle Earth campaign 1,000 years after the War of the Ring.

We're starting a new alternate Dawnforge Campaign next week and I'll be playing a night elf Bard who is going to also take a few levels of Hexblade as he moves up in levels.

I needed to know how many people were playing just a double-classed character, and how many were playing three or more classes. The difference may seem subtle, but it's there.

PS - Dinkledog, you are a sweaty, peanut shell-filled turdling with hairy toenails and all the episodes of 'Square One' on one laserdisc :] I'll see you in Small-Claims Chatroom Court mister :p And also you have one tooth, named 'Toof'. Deal with it. :p
