Favorite Movie Entrance

Technically not an entrance, but:

Ripley (Sigourney Weaver) confronting the alien queen in Aliens. "Get away from her, you b*tch!"

John Wayne in The Searchers, one of the best Westerns ever made.

For different reasons that the usual geeky fear-and-awe ones, Grace Kelley in Prisoner of Zenda. She's just so... damn... PERFECT.

Here's an additional one for you (because I don't want to merely repeat the others):

Labyrinth, David Bowie's entrance. The owl from the title sequence enters the room and flaps around, utterly scaring the bejezus out of Sarah, and then it flaps over to the window and turns into Bowie, in that costume, with that hair...:D

When Capt. John Sheridan comes back from Z'ha'dum in The Summoning episode of Babylon 5 and he walks out on the catwalk among the bickering leaders of the Alliance and states among other things, "I've been dead, I got better."

I loved that whole episode.

Believe it or not my FIRST thought was "Star Destroyer in SW". It was that scene alone that put the hard seal on my fate as a sf and fantasy fan. I might have become "normal" eventually, had it not been for that. But it doesn't qualify as a character.

That honor undoubtedly goes to Darth Vader, only moments later in the same film. And you know what really sold it? The music.
