General Chang!

C'mon folks...it's Christopher Plummer! Where else can you see a Canadian actor playing a Klingon general with a Chinese name who quotes English playwrights?

General Chang - love a Shakespeare quoting Klingon villain.
Kor quoted Shakespeare in DS9 episode aptly titled, "Once More Unto the Breach."

At least when I think of Kor I also think of Baltor. God Bless his soul, John Colicos.

With Chang, I keep hearing "Edelweiss" sung in thlIngan Hol.

Worf's brother, Kurn (played by actor Tony Todd), is also missing, as well as his son Alexander (not that I imagine there would be many votes for the kid).

Arrrg, left out Kurn too! My recent illness seems to have seriously weakened my considerable geek-fu!

I did consider Alexander, but decided not to include him.

Gowron. They never should have killed him off, or at least not the way they did it.

Eh, Gowron was alright, but he was also pretty crazy. I liked the scene where Worf finally dueled him to the death.

And I'll add to your "Hey, you forgot another Klingon on your poll". Grilka (Quark's wife), K'mpec (Chancellor before Gowron), and the big, fat singing Klingon from DS9. :D Anyone remember him? He was in, like, 3 episodes!

Eh, Grillka never really seemed that important to me, and K'mpec was briefly considered for the poll, but I left him off. The Klingon chef was a cool character, but definitely not important, he really was background Promenade flavor for DS9.

Looking at the results, I can't say I'm surprised Worf is in a commanding lead. Can't really say I'm surprised by the strong showing Martok, Gowron, and Chang have made. I didn't expect Kruge to get as many vote as he did though. I see Duras has no votes, while his sisters picked up two. Once again they manage to do something better than him. :] I'm very surprised Kor got no votes at all.

Anyway, I chose each of these Klingons for a reason. Worf and B'Elanna are series regulars, so they pretty much had to be included. Kor, Kang, and Koloth were included because I felt that they're the "iconic" Klingons of TOS, the three most well known Klingons that appeared in the original show. Gowron and Martok were chosen because they're pretty important recurring characters. Kahless was chosen because he's an important historical figure to the Klingons. Duras, Lursa and B'Etor were chosen because they were great recurring villains. And speaking of villains, Chang and Kruge were included becuase they're the most well known Klingon movie villains. I left out K'Ehleyr and Kurn by mistake, thinking back they should have been on the list, but I forgot about them. Korrd was chosen, because someone needed to come in last. :) Also, I wanted to see if anyone would actually vote for a character from Star Trek V. I originally was going to use Klaa instead, but Korrd seems to be a more important Klingon than that punk. :)

I was just joking about him. He was a chef? All I remember is that he would sing in Quarks.

He's kind of fallen through the cracks with the other forgotten supporting Trek characters. Anyone remember Chief Engineer Argyle of Next Gen?

It is better to be left off as well as Toral (Duras's alleged son). Many memories of Alexander would be his days spent on E-D with Worf being a single parent.
