Feat Survivor ROUND 15 is Over!!

I've got to go with Improved Initiative this round. Despite it being one of my favorite feats (as a DM, I love rolling high initiatives), you can just plum to more with the rest of the feats on the list than with Improved Initiative. And in my book (The Book of Breakstone), more versatility equals a better feat.

Point Blank Shot, whoever thought a ranged combatant should be rewarded with +1 damage for standing within charging distance of melee combatants should have his braincase checked. Worse still the fact that it's a required feat for the rest of the ranged feat chain

They're the only remaining instance of multiples from the same tree. The only reason there's more than one archery feat on the board is that people have been ignoring them so they could vote their pet peeve feat out.

I'm betting on Finesse to win! It denotes refinement in combat, its also the one feat I think should just be scrapped and Dex mad the "hit" stat and Str made the damage stat

People would object to that, Dex is already one of the most powerful stats (adds to AC, one save, most useful skills, and ranged attacks)...

I don't understand how people kill off Precise Shot before Point Blank Shot. Point Blank Shot gives you +1 to attack and damage within 30 ft, but Precise Shot gives you +4 attack. How is that worse than Point Blank Shot?

And Spell Penetration the previous round? When's the last time your party rogue saved the day because he shot the SR critter at point blank range?

Precise shot. It makes no sense to me. Not hitting others is just being more accurate. But accuracy is something you always have, not just when there's others running around.

Too much investment needed in other feats and abilities needed to make it work, compared to the other feats on display.
