Hi everyone. Real life stresses (mostly business-related, but inevitably having effects on our family, too.) have been building for the last couple months. I've been expecting RL to ease up and get back to normal, but it looks like this will be 'normal' for a while, so unfortunately it's time to reevaluate some things.

I really did think things were going to calm down - even started a game I was excited about running up recently and restarted another that I thought I had cancelled prematurely on a bad day few weeks ago. I considered making this move back then a while ago, then my Traveller game started picking up (And Watus made that great website for me), and I got all inspired (for that game and others). I'm still inspired, just unable to act on the inspiration properly. :\ Unfortunately, my post rate continues to be down (more importantly, the time I spend prepping the games I GM is way down), and when I do post, I'm feeling (correctly, I think) like I should be focusing on other stuff beside gaming, which is hurting the fun badly. It's time to pull back for a while.

I'm mothballing my games, and withdrawing from the ones I play in - hopefully temporarily, if players and GMs will have me back later on. I've had great times will all of you, I hope we'll have more in the future.

I'm sorry to hear that. Don't sweat the site. I had a free day and needed something to play with.

As for running the game, I'd love to. But I don't think I can. At least, I can't commit to it. The next few weeks will be insane for me, and if things go well, I may be even busier later on.

Sorry to hear that. But I've been there and I think that when it gets to the point where you aren't having any fun or are feeling guilty about the time spent gaming, then its time to step away for a while. Otherwise it burns you out.

So hope things settle down and we see you soon.

Hi all.

Things are calming down a little

I'm still unable to spend much time online, bt I'm going to try to ease myself back into what I can. The games I GM are still on hold, but I'm going to try to start posting a couple times a week in games in which I have a PC. Hope that's okay.
