Feints, Invisible Blade, Free actions

...

I would rule that if you're taking a full attack, you're using a full round action, and would probably only allow one free action before all the attacks. Things could get really nasty with a rogue/dervish/invisible blade.

There was a thread on the WotC boards where Sonofapreacherman (the designer of the class) was explaining why it wasn't overpowered. He'd gotten the impression that the defender added his attack bonus, not just his base attack bonus, to his Sense Motive roll. (As in, BAB, plus Str bonus, plus Weapon Focus, plus enhancement bonus, plus...)

Hang on. Sonofapreacherman designed the invisible blade? Is this the same SOAP as on EN World?

I prefer to look at each decision on its own merits, not what 'could be done'. Sure, WoTC (and others) have to be concerned about unintended repurcussions...but we only have to worry about our game. I saw the Dervish, and immediately ruled it out for my character because the combo seemed too much. (Plus, the record keeping seemed a pain without miniatures, which we only use as approximations.)

That makes archers very sad.

"I draw an arrow and shoot the orc, then I draw another arrow and..."
"Hold on! Drawing an arrow's a free action, and you've already had your one free action before you started your full attack."

Let the Invisible Blade feint before each attack but apply the appropriate modifiers:

The bluff is a little hard to believe or puts the target at some risk. +5
The bluff is hard to believe or puts the target at significant risk. +10
The bluff is way out there, almost too incredible to consider. +20
and each time the target gets hurt add another +5 ( or whatever) to the Sense Motive Check.
