Festival of Halina: Adventurers Gone Wild! (Orsal Judging)

"If you remove the wings, you might see the drake as a horse, and then see the teathers that go back from him to the cart like thing, though it looks more like an upsidown helmet...." He laughs "Are you seing any of this?"

Scarlet moves gracefully with the dance, and occasionaly seems to stop herself from trying more daring moves. The faster tempo music has Oirhandir barely able to keep up, but he manages to hold his own with his natural knowledge of rythym. Scarlet has a bright smile on her face as she makes the dance easier for Oirhandir.

Troi sees Scarlet and Oirhandir dancing, quite skillfully, as Oirhandir leads and Scarlet seems to bend, twist, and spin into positions that are quite impressive. The couple is not the most skilled dancers on the near area, but they are a sight to watch.
As Oirhandir watched the group with Carsis, Lasair and Sunny wander out of view, he made a mental note to talk to Fang in Sunny's absence.

The dancing was strenuous for the elf, and as much as he took pride in the armor that had once belonged to the bandit Phineas, he was all too ready to concede that it wasn't the most practical outfit for fast dancing. And Scarlet...she was amazing! He couldn't help but marvel at the lovely creature who floated into his arms, then out, then back in with astonishing ease. Oirhandir lost track of whether he was trying to anticipate her moves, or she was anticipating his, and he realized that he now had a deeper understanding of the phrase "Two becoming as one" than he ever had before.

When the music stopped, he tried to conceal his heavy breathing. "That was magnificent!", he exclaimed to his partner. "How on earth and under sky did you ever learn to dance like that?"

When they got a chance to chat more, Oirhandir thanked Scarlet for all her help in arranging the wedding. "Who would have thought this day would have turned out as it did?", he asked. "This morning, I was a caravan guard planning a picnic. Now, I'm to be the best man at Sunny's wedding. May there be no end of days such as this to bring vitality and enchantment to our lives!"

The talked and danced as the night went on, and the bard kept an eye out for both opportunities to speak to Fang, and for the return of Sunny.

Carsis nods "Yes, I figured as much. Perhaps you've seen the..."

A scream emerges from Sunny as a boar slams into him, knocking him unconsious.

Carsis's voice begins to sing out a song of battle, stirring courage inside of Lasair. He quickly takes his spear, steps between the boar and Lasair, and then closes with the boar, stabbing it painfully with is spear.

Lasair's action.

"I've had some time to practice Oirhandir." She says with a sly smile.

"Life is always filled with suprises, but it's good y'all gettin' some of the good kind." She says with a smile. "I know mine have been."

Amazingly, Oirhandier manages to stear the dancing towards Fang and Hellen.

The boar turns to face Carsis and lunges at him, just catching his robe as he barely dodges out of the way. However, he overbalances and misses with his strike.

*Lasair fires her crossbow at the boar and reloads if she has a clear shot. Otherwise, she moves to where she has a clear shot and fires.*

(OOC: Great--a Bard and a Telepath with no attack spells, the all-time worst possible combo (I guess except maybe if the Bard is a Sorcerer with no attack spells) :uhoh:

Too bad he attacked it--otherwise she could have Charmed it.)

Lasair steps to the side slightly, fires, and amazingly manages to hit, striking it for moderate hit. She reloads.

The boar lunges again at Carsis, and nicks him on the leg, but leaves itself open for another solid strike by Carsis.

OOC: Cloistered Cleric and a Telepath I think is worse. And he didn't know.
