As Oirhandir watched the group with Carsis, Lasair and Sunny wander out of view, he made a mental note to talk to Fang in Sunny's absence.
The dancing was strenuous for the elf, and as much as he took pride in the armor that had once belonged to the bandit Phineas, he was all too ready to concede that it wasn't the most practical outfit for fast dancing. And Scarlet...she was amazing! He couldn't help but marvel at the lovely creature who floated into his arms, then out, then back in with astonishing ease. Oirhandir lost track of whether he was trying to anticipate her moves, or she was anticipating his, and he realized that he now had a deeper understanding of the phrase "Two becoming as one" than he ever had before.
When the music stopped, he tried to conceal his heavy breathing. "That was magnificent!", he exclaimed to his partner. "How on earth and under sky did you ever learn to dance like that?"
When they got a chance to chat more, Oirhandir thanked Scarlet for all her help in arranging the wedding. "Who would have thought this day would have turned out as it did?", he asked. "This morning, I was a caravan guard planning a picnic. Now, I'm to be the best man at Sunny's wedding. May there be no end of days such as this to bring vitality and enchantment to our lives!"
The talked and danced as the night went on, and the bard kept an eye out for both opportunities to speak to Fang, and for the return of Sunny.
