Festival of Halina: Adventurers Gone Wild! (Orsal Judging)

Lasair fires and misses low, the bolt embedding in the ground below the boar.

The boar, badly wounded, turns and runs back into the forrest.

Carsis ignores the boar, and examines Sunny. He chants a musical spell, and Sunny's wounds begin to mend. Sunny's eyes open, and Carsis says "Rest my friend. You're in no danger, but you'll hurt for a while."

"Oh dear...why would a boar randomly attack us?"

(OOC: Yay, we barely almost beat a creature that should have been only a slight challenge  Looks like 300 XP)

Amazingly, Oirhandier manages to stear the dancing towards Fang and Hellen.
With Fang's...unique dancing style, Oirhandir expected that opportunities like this one would be few and far between. As soon as the two couples passed near, he called out, "Fang! Helen! I have extraordinary news! Talk to you next break!" The two pairs separated again and whirled around the dance floor (at least one couple whirled, the other couple rather lunged...) When the music stopped, Oirhandir led Scarlet by the hand over to the orc and the priestess.

"I don't know, though they get ornery and angry at times. Perhaps we're intruding on it's teritory. I'm just glad I wasn't here alone." he says, smiling at Lasair.

Sunny moans "Oooh, that hurt. What did I do to that thing?"

Fang and Helen make their way to the table once the music ends. Valdor and Elise are still off dancing.

OOC: Doh, sorry, missed this, and yes, he's at the mayor's house.

"Well, I can do this one a two ways... might as well try th' proper way first, I s'pose." Troi mutters to himself.

He walks boldly up to the door and gives it two swift knocks.
The guard opens the door. "Yes?"

(OOC: Ah, the dreaded 'post made at the end of the last page and your response to the second to last post goes to the next page so you miss it' syndrome. Happens to everyone--I was going to mention it last night, but I forgot)

"I barely helped at all with a lucky shot. You basically took care of it yourself."
"It doesn't mean I'm any less grateful. It's a team effort, and if weren't there, perhaps it would have continued on instead of running."

"You could have used that healing spell on yourself and taken care of it, I am sure. I probably did nothing but hold you back...Interestingly, sometimes the team is actually weaker than the lone members, although it is an unusual phenomenon. For instance, you could have defeated it easily alone in combat, and I could have Charmed it and avoided a fight if you didn't attack it."
