OOC, for Bront:[sblock]

The caravan continues south on the road. In the distance, the woods thin out a bit, and you see a large wooden bridge that spans the river.
Is this the River Roars? Because if it is, Oirhandir has been here before, and remembers the crossing like
this, like
this, and like
this. I hate to be a pain, but it's a dramatic location, and I'd like to see it stay in the LEW gazetteer. I think if you just revise the description of the location a tad, your ambush still works. The clearing is an easy walk to the bridge, but I think you have have enough cover on the left side of the road between the clearing and the bridge to hide as many bandits as you need.
Of course, if it's
not the Roars and is just some smaller river that isn't on the map, this is all good.[/sblock]Oirhandir's eyes narrowed to slits. An ambush, eh? Well, this should be one caravan that turns the tables on these thugs.
Oirhandir retrieved his mallet and chimes from his pack, and began playing the melody to
Wilhelm Sprech, the song of the simple but brave villager who singlehandedly saved his hometown from a band of 30 theives.
OOC:
[sblock]Retrive item, move action, Inspire Courage +1 (bardic music), standard action. If "?????" can reach him before it is his turn, Oirhrandir will turn his mount and ride just out of range of a melee attack before starting his music (in which case he'll probably retrieve the chimes this turn and won't be able to begin playing until the next).[/sblock]
