You missd one. The Ulgurstrasa (sp?) was in the gallery for MMII, but didn't make it. It later appeared in FF. I've loved the kewl factor of that one since I saw it in Dragon, as was pleased to see it make it into print.

Yeah, and furthermore, WotC's web-enhancement have gone from the interesting and useful (additional psionic monsters, modrons and World Serpent Inn, Mahasarpa setting, the "Do and Don't" of FR religions...) to the boring and useless (monster NPC that brings nothing new, hence, don't enhance anything).

Frankly, I'm disappointed by the MM2 and FF WE. Web enhancement should bring "extra fluff", "extra crunch", or both. But not be a rehash of something already existing, like "look at our exciting desmodu wizard, and his friend the loxo paladin" -- or whatever were the useless NPCs in those enhancement.

I am thinking along the line that the BOED will be a Mature line product, and will likely talk about Celestials and their place in a game world. If a Celestial fails to be as exalted as it should be, it might fall. It is not as far off as it might seem at first glance.
In this thread on the WotC boards, Eric Mona states that he wrote a treatment on Archons (which might or might not include the Fallen Hound Archon) that was bumped to a later product. How many fitting products are coming out in the near future?

While it's a shame if there was some fallen celestial template that was missed out of the book, I hope that had it been included they'd have gotten some better artwork than that fallen hound archon, IMo it's rather poor

It's not as dynamic as some pictures but I like it. Better than most CC stuff.

That was less a "supposed to be" than an out-and-out error. It should have been "Brain Golem". Sadly, that error is still repeated elsewhere, but hopefully will be changed soon. *elbows BOZ*
