Fighter, aka man-at-arms

Legend
The man-at-arms from IH provides an interesting way of tweaking the fighter.

Wild Feat - A 6th level can once per day as a free action call upon his previous experiences and techniques in battle to aid him in a current situation. He gains any feat that he meets the prereqs for and that is on the fighter bonus feat list. He keeps this feat for the rest of the day.

At 12th level he can use wild feat 2/day, 3/day at 18th.

Would the feats be in addition to the normal received at 6th, 12th & 18th?

After the release of Nine Swords, no one wants to run a fighter. I was thinking of adding an extra 'wild' feat like the MaA from IH at 5th or 7th because they are 'dead' levels for fighters.

Most players I know aim for a static build to max out a certain fighter aspect - tripping, attack, damage, etc. Having an interchangeable feat doesn't do them much good unless they constantly choose the same one every day to go with the other static feats. You may have to place rules that the 'wild' feat cannot stack with other feats; otherwise you'll get players that can assume they just get one more feat to use.
