Damn these "tough decision" PrCs!

I want it all! I want my good BAB and my good saves and hit-die-type, but I also want the good stuff from my new PrC! :)

I have a 10th level cleric, but I am thinking of taking Contemplative. That'd give me a third domain (almost has to be Celerity, since I'm a cleric of Fharlanghn) and some other plusses, but it'd kill my BAB, saves, and HD! Nooooooooooo!

Has anyone done this multiclass idea, and if so, did it work out?

I looked at Templar, and I think it looks good. I would definitely go for a handful of cleric levels first, though, just to get the Domains. The War and Strength domains, as mentioned before, can add a lot to a fighting priest.

Personally, though, I like the Hospitaler class. I understand it has a rep for being broken (essentially you're a cleric who gave up turning and saves for fighter feats and BAB).

Oh, and the Warpriest is unstoppable. Definitely something to look into if you're going for the "leading the battle against evil" sort of idea.

One day someone will write an auto-aiming mod for D&D, and all your prayers will be answered.

Heck I'd just do cleric/fighter/warpriest since that way you get some REALLY sweet powers AND you don't have to worry that much about losing your fighting edge.

One word Mettle. One class has it Templar.

Since you'll need to be taking a level in Rogue to pay for the know religion might I suggest take a second lvl in Rogue for evasion (+1 bab good ref + other perks) . You'd not suffer on ANY save that you make.
