Fighter Feat: Follow Through

Asmodean

First Post
Follow Through (General)
Your weapon is an extension of your arm

Prerequisite: BAB 6+

Effect: If your melee attack hits, your next melee attack gets a +1 circumstance bonus to hit. (edit) Hits with your last attack in a round do not carry over to the next round. You must attack the same opponent with the same weapon or an offhand weapon to get the bonus.

If your opponent is flat footed or otherwise denied his dex bonus to AC, you get +1 to damage as well.

Special: A fighter may take this feat as a fighter bonus feat.

comments? too powerful?

i wouldn't make power attack one of the required feats for the following reason, Most weapons that have easy follow up hits in the real world are your lighter type of weapons like fencing blades. In light of this some other feat like weapon focus should be used.

How does Weapon Focus reflect that? If that is true then I'd jsut limit it to light weapons. THe reason I siggested PA is because it';s a good genreal combat feat. Expertise can easily be used instead.

I like the feat, it gives fighter a nice chance to up their abilities with a weapon. Since weapon advancment is rather limmited.

I would maybe raise it to a +2 bonus though. Also maybe make it an unnamed bonus, I am pretty sure a circumstance bonus doesn't grant a damage bonus.

Cool idea.
