Fighter Level 2 Utilities

Boundless Endurance is a great way to counteract ongoing damage. My fighter can't make a saving throw to save his life, so it's fantastic for him. (I think it gave him 30+ hps in last night's game.)

My level 3 fighter has used Boundless Endurance to great effect, and it has saved his ass many times. The last fight he went through, he popped the stance when bloodied near the beginning of combat (he wades into multiple enemies all the time) and he stayed bloodied for most of the fight, with regen keeping him up the entire time. The cleric didn't even have to bother healing him :) It's a fantastic power.

I also don't know why people think that you can only have one stance in a power suite at a time. I can definitely see where one would be using Rain of Steel in the beginning of a big fight, and later on transition to Boundless Endurance when the leaders have run out of healing power.

Sure, you can only have one stance active at a time, but that doesn't mean you should only have once stance in your selection of powers.

Yeah, Boundless Endurance is brutally powerful. I've seen fighters regenerate vast amounts of damage in longer fights. None of the other utilities at this level seem to be anywhere near as good as it is.

I also am a huge fan of Boundless Endurance, but I can't pretend the other powers are bad. It's just that regeneration is awesome. Ongoing damage, plink-to-death by minions, or just plain old healing without any action cost: I love regeneration.

Cheers, -- N

I think "get over here" is probably best saved for higher levels. It breaks grabs, and can rescue someone from being engulfed, but at low levels things tend to die quickly enough that it's not really necessary.
