Fighter Medusa question

Well...

I think you are a great contributor to this community. I like your experience in RPG's and eloquence with which you express yourself. I really liked some of your posts.

I might come out as arsh, but I don't intend to attack you. Really. The fact that I take note of your posting habits means that I read you a lot, and I wouldn't do so if you weren't interesting.

"But ?"

Lately I have often seen you post in non-Scarred Lands threads and you just had to make comments like "You gotta try *this* from Scarred Lands" or "The Scarred Lands version is better" or "Yes they do, in Scarred Lands"... not only is it rude to repeatedly pimp the same thing all the time, but you don't come off as an open-minded guy. To me, you sound like a Scarred Lands fanboy, and it just annoys me. Not to an overwhelming extent, but just enough for me to roll my eyes when you do it yet again in my thread.

I'm sorry. I might be wrong, I might be right, it's how I feel.

If I'm wrong, ignore me and just think I'm a moron, and that's that.

If I'm right, take that as a constructive remark, learn from it, then move on.

I'm genuinely smiling in a friendly manner while I type this.

Take care,

René

I take no offense and I will admit to trying SL stuff in non-SL worlds. But I will admit I do try hold back. However that being said, it's your creation not mine. I just happen to feel a druid/blood witch Medusa is far more interesting and not to mention a greater adversary than a straight fighter. But that's me.

I think dropping the half-nymph template from a recent dragon (314?) I think would be even more interesting and is a cheap way of getting +6 CHA for +2 ECL or a CR +1. :)

Though to be honest, I'm not sure how you would get that combination except in some sort of freakish laboratory as Nymphs are always female and I think the same is true for Medusas.

Now that would be fun. A half fey medusa sorceress WOULD be both freaky AND fun. (Plus a chance to use Scion feats or some kind of bloodline ability would be interesting) In any case thanks for that idea BS. I might use that in my own game.

You’re welcome. :D If you can't find the template I have it written up somewhere at home, but I'm at work right now. :)

I have a 12th level character written up for a PbP game... Do not that it's A Book of Vile Darkness game and not for the young or weak at heart. (link

NF, cool hit me up on chat if you have any questions.

Trainz, I didn't mean to highjack the thread like that. :( fighter classes could be useful but if your using a charisma based attack divine grace is hard to ignore... There was an assortment of evil (313) and neutral (312) paladins in dragon recently, and Green Ronin’s Book of the Righteous and Unholy Warriors could make for some sick 20 level unholy warriors/paladins. :D
