Fighter Weapon Talent question?

I have a fighter using a bastard sword as a one handed weapon, and uses a shield. I get a plus 1 to hit fighter talent for either heavy blades or light blades, which on does a bastard sword count for?

A Bastard sword is a Heavy Blade. PH 218, under Group.

I'm pretty sure fighter weapon talents cover one-handed or two-handed weapons (or possibly off hand anything), not light or heavy blades.

Are you asking whether the weapon is 1 or 2 handed? The Bastard sword is a one-handed weapon, regardless of how many hands you wield it in. It even counts as a one-handed weapon when you use it in both hands for the versatile property. Use the 'One-handed' talent for +1 to hit with the bastard sword.
