I’ll admit I was unsure myself. But because it had those two patches on it that looked like flat metal (no wood grain) I decided it must be something sturdy. So I went with a sort of slate tile kind of thing. Ultimately- I just like red roofs.

You know, looking at the original concept art, I wonder if it isn’t wood planks with a tarp over them. Then a couple metal sheets where there were leaks.

I really have a hard time with darker colored flesh. Nice job. I also like your checker pattern.
