It's going to be played before Twilight: Eclipse. That movie is set for a ludicrous opening now instead of just humungous.

I read the book to my wife (as with previous books, there was no way we were going to fight over who got to read it first) over a period of about 36 hours (accounting for breaks) starting at about 1 hour after the midnight release. To say we're looking forward to these is a bit of an understatement.

The trailer does appear to show some moments from the book in almost exactly the way I'd pictured, and I really quite liked movies 5 and 6, so with the same director I'm cautiously optimistic it'll capture the book's spirit and major events well.

But there's no way I'm going to step foot near Twilight: Anything just to catch the trailer on the big screen.

I stopped watching the movies with the ever-so-disappointing Goblet of Fire, but I will be back for the end, thanks to the new girlfriend
