Final words...

Seeing that his current guise in not going to be condusive to apprehending the woman, once outside Bhalag looks for somewhere to duck into to shed his current persona in favour of something that will be less suspect for the elven woman.

( Sivis Message Station? ;) )

Wrinkling his nose briefly, Bhalag takes a look to see that no one is paying much attention before moving into the public toilet and closing the door behind him.

A moment later, the door opens a hair to see if the coast is clear and then a handsome looking half-elf emerges.

" I hope they appreciate the pains ol' Sedar takes for them, " he says before renewing the chase.

Making some attempt to distance himself from the train following the elf, Sedar looks for an alternate route by which it may be possible to cut off and surprise her.

Kae keeps up the pursuit, seeing that Zook seems to have the waitress well in hand and Bhalag... or Sedar... is moving to intercept.

Zook has short legs and is quickly outpaced even before stopping to talk with the waitress.
Rethlin has heavy armor and is being quickly outpaced.
Veyk has stopped to change faces.

Kae, thus, is the only one in any kind of pursuit, and even she's losing ground. Whoever this woman is, she covers territory at an astonishing rate and seems to prefer jumping over obstacles rather than going around them.
This strategy should eventually backfire, but it hasn't caused her any grief yet. She is heading along the lightning rail pylons, towards the switchyard.

( I am actually wearing medium armour, so speed is only 20' , though I guess running is still x4. )

What Sedar lacks in speed, he hopes to make up in strategy and guile. Instead of following the others straight towards the switchyard, he looks for a longer way around that may allow him to come upon the woman unawares when she stops.

Kae keeps running. It's obvious she's not going to catch the book thief at this rate, but so long as she keeps some kind of pressure up there's a chance that the elf will fall foul of her own propensity for acrobatics and end up flat on her face. There's also the chance that Sedar will succeed in getting ahead of her.

There's also the niggling voice that is telling her to throw caution to the winds and do this her own way. It's not that she doesn't understand the possible danger of attracting attention - that's what has so far been keeping her from trying anything flamboyant. It's just that... well... a low profile doesn't really come naturally to her. It'd be so easy to give a plaintive cry and sucker some bystander into tackling the elf... and she's confident she could talk her way out of the ensuing mess.

But if Rethlin or Zook opened their mouths... hmmm. Plan B then.

For now, she grits her teeth and keeps up her silent pursuit.
