Chasing the woman...

Sedar starts climbing to where he can see the edges of the switchyard. As he reaches a good vantage point he is nearly knocked off his feet by a skytruck drawn by weary looking phantasmal steeds.
Not that phantasmal steeds can get weary, precisely, but these look...less fresh. Like someone had flown them from Sharn.
The skytruck flies towards one of the warehouses that make up "the warehouse district": six warehouses, a common loading yard, two offices, and a quartet of guard shacks.
Below, he sees the parade of his comrades heading towards the fence. There is yet no sign of the woman in green.

Beneath Sedar, Kae comes to a stop as she reaches the fence. The woman has disappeared into the depths of the switchyard.
Behind her she hears a man calling "Wait! Young miss!" as he sprints after her.

Rethlin is rolling along behind Kae when he is overtaken by a man blessed with light armor. He continues ofter Kae, calling "Wait! Young miss!"

Zook sees James run after Kae, calling "Wait! Young miss!"

Seeing that her pursuit is hopeless, Kae gives up and rounds angrily on the man calling to her. She fixes him with a fiery stare, breathing heavily from the run.

"What is it?" she asks irritably.

The man smiles confidingly and hands Kae a handkerchief in case she wishes to mop her brow.
"Miss, I'd like to convey the apologies of my estimable companion Zook. He was overwhelmed by your smouldering style of beauty..."
He leans in to whisper to Kae confidingly. "Librarian, you know. Trapped all day with paste and ink and paper...they get a little..." He makes a whirling gesture by the side of his head.

"Anyway, he's very sorry for his forward behavior. He'd like a chance to apologize in person, but obviously that will be difficult if you keep punching him. Would you be willing to speak to him?"

The man smiles winningly at Kae.

"My name is James, by the way. What's yours?"

Kae blinks. For a moment her scowl deepens as the misunderstanding sinks in, but after a moment she gives a sigh and her expression softens.

"Kae," she says with a small chuckle. "But I hope you didn't just use up all your charm on me, 'cos you've got the wrong woman. The lucky lady who punched Zook just got away into the switchyard."

James looks a little crestfallen.
"You didn't punch Zook because he got fresh with you?"
He looks Kae up and down.

"Well, would you punch me if I got fresh with you?"
James smiles charmingly.
"I know a lovely Aundair cafe in Sharn with a decent wine list..."

Rethlin and Zook arrive at this point.

"Now," James muses, "if I was a gate to a switchyard, where would I be?"

Sedar climbs down from his perch and goes to speak with his companions.

" I am afraid that I have misplaced that elven lass, but I did see a certain skytruck heading towards one of the warehouses, " he says, brow furrowed with concern. " I do not think we have any time to spare, we must intercept Manticore before they can find the scrolls. James, it is your decision whether you wish to go on ahead with us now, or call for backup. At this point, I am uncomfortable saying which would be the better course of action, for I am not sure. "

"I'm sorry." James replies, looking skeptically at Sedar.
"But I don't believe I've ever seen you before. Have you changed your facial hair recently?"

"He is with us" huffs Rethlin as he clomps up, catching his breath. "Now, let us off to that warehouse."

Zook, huffing and puffing catches up with the group and follows " This is far too much action for a simple librarian. I swear, running fist-fights, love, charm both magial and non...its been a couple of days!!
