Oh my....
It has never occurred to me that such a thing was possible, and yet... there it is. If true, this would be very, very, very cool.

A shiver just went down my spine and the he hair on my neck actually stood up on end.

Whoa is right! IIRC GDT recently mentioned giving up on AtMoM because of the studio imposed limitations. This is awesome to hear.

And this may sound like heresy from a gorehound like me, but TBH I don't think Mountains needs an R rating.

I agree, much of the mind-bending horror of Lovecraft has very little to do with traditional slasher blood and gore.

It'd be awesome if I could take my kids to this movie.

There was some in Mountains when they found the mangled expedition remains, but to me it always seemed like he put that there to really hammer in the contrast to the later horror. As if he was mocking the slasher aspect.

Done right, and it'll have a new rating, "Rated I for insanity and psychic trauma".

In order to garner an I-Rating, I believe there has to be at least three seperate instances in the movie that require the audience to make an Insanity check.:uhoh: If not, it's merely D-Rated...for Disturbing.B-)

If it's too horrific, I figure they'll just eyeball your character sheet as you come in. Like on a roller coaster.
