I am curious, though. Is it possible to get a more detailed description of the Fey Pact features for Warlocks?

Also, if possible, could we get a Warlock's Spell List, as well?

What benefits does the Magic Initiate feat give?

Pick a casting class, gain two cantrips and one 1st level spell from that class list.

What does the Beast Master Ranger's Lv. 11 feature do?

Also, how are the animal companion's hit points, defenses and damage determined?

Ranger's Companion is a basic animal/beast, they are in the Appendix.

War Domain clerics get a class feature called Bonus Proficiencies that gives heavy armor and martial weapons proficiencies, not affected by multiclassing.

Defensive Duelist feat..

does not use shield at all. lets you add your proficiency bonus to your AC to interrupt an attack.

So it doesn't matter whether or not you use a shield, correct?

Defensive Duelist feat..


So it doesn't matter whether or not you use a shield, correct?

No shield is required Defensive Duelist, just a finesse weapon you are proficient with.

I nabbed a PHB from the Niagra Square Coles today, saw someone else buying it as well, so I can start on some questions.

I wanted to add one thing before I ran off...

Some inspirational reading, I thought it was a nice touch to the book...

Tarzan not included in the list in the list of ERB's suggested works, when the main character is the epitome of the barbarian class? (Athletics, nature skills, lack of armor, and especially the frenzied bouts of rage -- it's almost like ERB was a D&D player who traveled back in time to write these books.)

Oh well, its still really nice to have this list in the Player's Handbook. Hey kids, before TV and movies and video games, there were these things called books! Try one out!
