The puny magician requires potions, lotions, and salves like a teenager at a Bath & Body Works.

The Mighty Fighter has no need for such ... trinkets. I need my sword, and if not my sword, then my fists will suffice. And even were my fists to be removed, I would batter the puny man with my indomitable will until there was nothing left but a tattered and pointy hat.

I am the unstoppable force of nature and the articulation of Crom's wrath. The Wizard is the sideshow barker at the carnival, distracting you from glory.

Ohhhh. I'm sorry.

You want unstoppable force of nature and some mystical wrath? I misunderstood. My bad.

Here ya go. *flick*<pea-sized ball o' guano and sulphur> Phyris Orbis Byrns Altu Ashis!

<casts fireball. 8d6 fire damage. DC20 for half.>

Valor is facing insurmountable odds, with only your wits and your sword, knowing that there is no one and nothing you can trust. Not men. Not women. Not horse. Not magic. Just steel. Steel you can trust.

The man dressed like David Copperfield spouting pig latin? Him, you do not trust. But you trust your steel will run him through. And that... the feeling of steel through flesh? IT'SWAY ..... AGICMAY!!!!!!

Brawny witless nonsense. You want to talk about trust? Trust to steel? Trust to SELF! Your own intellect. Your person and mind! Your own creativity. Your own capacity to comprehend the multiverse and wield super-natural power!

Surely, those who honor Crom have no higher respect than for self-reliance! Those who "trust to steel" and violence are those without the intellect or power to handle actual intellect and power.

In closing...*Feeblemind*

Fighters drool. Wizards rule. :p

What's the difference between a 3-week old puppy and playing as a Fighter?

After 6-weeks, the puppy stops whining.:lol:

What's the difference between an anchor and a fighter?

You tie a rope to the anchor before you throw it overboard.
