D&D 5E Finished Out of the Abyss!

By Odin’s beard, my gaming group did it! It took us two years, but we finally finished Out of the Abyss. We lost and gained some players on the way, but it feels great to be done.

It took over an hour to defeat Demogorgon. And yet it passed like no time at all, with everyone completely involved and invested in the battle.

I enjoyed the heck out of this module, but am quite glad to be done with it. I’ll get to take a little break from DMing while my brother runs I Am Zombie. I still have my open table running through Hoard of the Dragon Queen, but regardless, this feels like a well-earned vacation!

Congrats. I've still not completed an entire adventure path for 5e. I'm still running Princes of the Apocalypse (although I've been taking a break for quite a while to play in other games instead). I love the scope of these adventure paths, but I think I'm much more of a mini-campaign kind-of-guy. In one of the groups I'm playing in now, we're running Phandelver. The size of that adventure path is more my speed. lol.

Thanks!

Yeah, I definitely think we also need more of the smaller scope modules, like LMoP and the Tales from the Yawning Portal classics updates.
