This pretty much does what it says on the tin: it's a Firefly RPG. It's well presented, with solid production values throughout; it's well written; it captures the spirit of the show really well. In short, this is a really good Firefly RPG. (And a considerable improvement over the Serenity RPG of some years ago.) The one caveat I would put forward is that this is very much a game for telling stories, and as such is much less simulationist than I'm used to. But that's a feature, not a bug.

I was sold by the fact it was Firefly and the Cortex Plus engine does wonders for helping players capture the feel of the show. Ran a total of two seasons and several one-offs, its one of my go-to games. Some newcomers may struggle to get their heads around the narrative aspect of the system (I had one who just couldnt understand the lack of HP in the traditional sense for example) but once the mindset is adjusted its fantastic fun.
