First new books in a while

Oh, great bit of text in BotFK:

"This adventure takes place just outside the town of Kingsholm. Despite its pretentious name, the town is small and sleepy - or it was, until trouble began."

You've got to love any adventure that uses "pretentious" in its text. :)

Cheers!

This is turning into a very good day:

Belladonna, book 2 of Anne Bishop's "Landscapes of Ephemera" duology was waiting for me in my local K-Mart, so I picked that up. Happy!

And Dungeon #143 and Dragon #351 also both arrived today and were waiting for me when I got home. Happy! Happy! :)

Cheers!

They have K-Mart in Australia?

I feel like we owe your nation an apology.

:)

Finished Belladonna. Sleep beckons. (It's 10:49 PM. Hmm. Watched an hour of Academy Awards, and had dinner... so I guess that's about 4 hours for a 500 page book. Sounds about right.

Cheers!

I suspect Europe also has much better public transportation than Australia does, though. I know when I lived in Austria, I could cross the country for nothing on Sundays, for instance, and even on other days, it would be relatively cheap to go a long way.

i haven't bought any new books since dec.
xmas bills are now paid.
so i guess i'll go check what i missed in jan and feb.

Dungeonscape is the best WotC book I have seen in quite a while. Its a book that should be in any Dungeon loving GM's collection, no matter the system you prefer. There is also good stuff in there for players.
