One suggestion about 4e essentials was that if they had incorporated Tim the blaster caster (yes often a warlock idea too) it wouldn't have been seen as an attempt to invalidate the the standard fighter archetype.Warlock: Eldritch Blast + Agonizing Blast + Hex.
While I've not actually seen a Champion reach level 10, the Additional Fighting Style seems hard to utilize, since most characters focus one type, leaving Defense as the default second option, but I don't have a solution to it.
My favorite resource is have you revealed this trick this fight or not. No fatigue necessary.. A fighter that doesn't need to track ressources but still has interesting CHOICES at certain levels and the potential for certain styles with a little bit of tactical choices on a round per round basis.
