Flanking and sneak attack questions

Huh?

Is that NZ slang? Am I supposed to say thank you or prepare to launch a vendetta?

I was saying it was a horrible, horrible pun, and I'm considering never speaking to you again.

Funniest thing I've read all day :) :)

Getting back to the original point, don't confuse "flanking" with sneak attack. Saying that elementals can't be flanked isn't saying a Rogue can't sneak attack them. They can't, of course, but in addition, they can't be flanked. That means two players can't get on either side and gain the +2 flanking bonus, which everyone, not just Rogues, receives. Flanking is just one scenario that gives the Rogue a Sneak Attack. But not only can elementals not suffer from Rogue sneak attacks, but everyone else can't even get the +2 flanking bonus against them.

Huh? Aberrations are crittable, aren't they?

"Bizarre anatomy" isn't the same as "no discernable anatomy"...

Oops, getting into the realm of "wait, is that a house rule?"

I was right about the plants though. :)

something to do with nuts on the the chest but we wont go there.
being an abberation, well the possibilities.....

ok if it doesnt have a front or back or whatever you cant flank?

why? incombat the creature flanked would have to divert its attention between 2 opponants hence the + 2.

Flanking is not the same as sneak attacks, its just that a rogue can get sneak attack when it flanksunless the target is immune does not stop rogue from getting + 2 to hit.

aw what the heck :)
