Has Full Metal Alchemist gone to repeats now? :(

It has been replaced by Samurai Champloo and it is now airing on Mondays to Wednesdays 1 AM. And on the episode schedule it has repeat episodes.

Yeah, season 1 just completed from what I understand. Which is good, because I missed 3/4s of the episodes. :(

Yes FMA is now in repeats. You can semi-thank GitS for that since AS wasn't sure they could or WOULD get 2nd Gig. Now that it's assured, FMA will return with the rest of the eps some time in September.

There's also a rumor that Funi had only dubbed up to Ep 36... Again just a rumor.

And hey what's wrong with SC?! It's an AWESOME show.

*was THIS close from going Mugen/Jin combo on you butt...*

Tempt not your fate... :p :)

But thanks. I'm glad you liked it. I know its probably #1 favorite anime out there.

While were on the AS subject, does anyone know what the heck happened to Yu-Yu Hakusho? Are they planning on finishing the series?

Villano,

Couldn't tell you. At first I heard "We're moving it to allow for some other stuff..." Then nada.

So no idea if it or shows like Megas XLR will ever return to Toonami and/or Adult Swim.

Where did you come by this info? I thought they were just dropping FMA. It's also my understanding that the final episode they showed before reruns was the 1st episode of the
-3rd- season.

FMA only has one season, not 2 or 4. It has 4 openings/closings though. It has 51 regular episodes and one special (a sort of recap for the series) with a movie on the way. It is unknown if the special or movie are licensed. The official reasons it is on repeats are 1. the need to finish dubbing (as mentioned) 2. to have the dvd releases catch up some what to the shown episodes.

Cartoon Network has officially announced that Saturday night Adult Swim will be anime only starting soon (I forgot the date, may have already passed). Sadly Megas XLR (like Samurai Jack) just seems to have disappeared with no mention of its fate or future.

They are NOT dropping FMA. Merely letting it "restart" along with GitS to allow the latter to be ready (I believe by the next DVD release) when both return in the fall.

Also what Temprus said is true, to a degree. Officially they are letting the DVDs run their course BEFORE jumping back into eps past #26. Unofficially and widely believed, is that because GitS: the Second Gig isn't finished being dubbed yet, (though it's only a rumor), they needed to do reruns as well as add in new anime.

Temprus,

I believe they announced it at the end of April. Starting the 28th of this month, the new line up for summer will be as follows (subject to changes and additional movies.)

11:00 pm = New Inuyasha episodes
11:30 pm = Samurai Champloo
12:00 am = Paranoia Agent
12:30 am = Sc-ryed
1:00 am = Trigun
1:30 am = FLCL
2 - 5 = repeats of above.
5:00 am = Case Closed
5:30 am = Lupin the Third

(Note I'm not 100% sure this is accurate TIME wise. But I do know these are the show being shown on Saturdays)

That clear things up for you all?
