My 6th level Dwarven Cleric of Clageddin Silverbeard just picked up a 4th level Dwarf (1st rogue/3rd Fighter.

The Rogue level was taken for the skill points in craft (smithing - armour, weapons, locks etc.). I didn't spend any points in the hide/move stuff, and don't plan on using sneak attack that much.

Currently I have a Half Orc ranger. I say currently because my DM doesn't seem to like having a cohort around. He kills my cohorts nearly every session.

Anyway, here are the vitals.

Half-Orc Ranger, Sneer.
Ranger 8/Fighter 2
Stats: 20,16,18,12,14,10
Feats: Improved Critical (short sword), Power attack, Weapon Focus (short sword), Maximize Attack, Improved Maximize Attack, Rend
Magic: Keen +2 short sword, +3 short sword, Ring of protection +2, Chain shirt +5.

That may seem like lots of magic items, but some of it came from the party treasure stored on our boat.

My Cohort is a Sea Folk Level 12 Samurai. The funny thing is her second highest skill is profession bookkeeper. I dont know too much specifically as the DM created her and plays her.

My charecter is a Level15 Wizard/Arch-Mage 1. Moon Elf in the Realms.

Jeez. It sounds like you've got a problem.

Have you talked to your DM about this? It sounds like he should have disallowed the feat in the first place is he was going to be an ass about having cohorts around.

My players have two paladins that have mount/cohorts

One is a Human Pal/PsiWar/Planar Champion - lv 16
His mount is a 1/2-Amythist Dragon/Griffin who is an emmisary of the dragon council.

The other is a 1/2 Celestial Dwarf Pal/Clr of Lathander/Contiplative - lv 14
His mount is a Lammasu

A third player is an elfin Rgr(M.C.)/Deepwoods Sniper/OoBA - lv 16
His cohort is a elf clr/wiz/loremaster

I also have a druid/ftr - lv 16
No cohort yet - he's looking for some sort of intelligent tree, but his followers are a tribe of lizardmen.

I really don't think he does it on purpose. We have a house rule, if you roll three twenties in a row, its an insta-kill. The so far the only person to do that is the DM, twice. Both times the creature happened to be attacking my cohort. The DM rolls in the open, for attacks, so I know he didn't fudge any rolls.

Next we followed a minotaur into a cave, but the cave was trapped and the minotaur was an illusion. A wall of ice went up over the cave mouth with half the party in and half out. Two of the three outside died, one was my cohort, before the three inside could get through the wall of ice.

The most recent was a cleric cohort of mine was in combat, along with our monk and fighter/wizard, with the BBEG at the end of the adventure. The cleric took a couple nasty blows and tried to exit combat, thus invoking an AOO, which sent him below -10.

I think the DM just has great luck against my cohorts for some reason. I don't know if he goes after the cohorts on purpose or not but he does seem to get a perverse pleasure out of killing them. I still think he is just lucky.

My Cohort is an Expert 4/Fighter 4/Lasher 7. Think Indiana Jones, crossed with the Librarian girl from the mummy. She's my character's wife, so keeping her alive is a priority for me :p

Hoo-ah.

My character, Drim, is a Male Halfling Rogue 11/Guild Thief 2. His cohort is a man by the name of Garinol, which is a major NPC in the campaign. If I had to guess, I'd say Garinol is a Male Human Rogue 10.

Garinol was originally introduced to the campaign during a meeting with some shades, just west of Suzail, in a hidden valley (containing a very strange city..). Drim was doing his duty, hiding in the trees above and keeping a bead on the shades, when he noticed someone else was just a few trees over. Sneaking over, Drim slipped up behind the man, and quickly stunned him while binding his hands and feet.

Later, after the shades had left, Drim did the most humane thing he could...and dropped the guy out of the tree, before dragging him back.

After an interrogation, and Drim's sparing of his life, he revealed his name (Garinol Andover) and decided to come along with the party. Throughout the course of the party's adventures since, Garinol has developed a deep respect.

Drim'll make use of those followers, too, once he starts up his guild.

(Stay tuned for a Shadows of the Past, which is the campaign Drim plays in, story hour soon!)
