Hiya ForgedAnvil,

First of all my apologies, as I made a mistake with the sheet 1.54 I was using. I didn't get the +2 proficiency bonus with the Bard lvl 9, because on sheet 1 I had forgotten to remove the -1 initiative modifier. This morning I retested the sheet without that modifier. and it correctly displayed the value.

I built a first level Hill Dwarf cleric, with a charisma of 9. The 9 gives him a -1 on Charisma rolls, but a cleric he has proficiency in Wisdom and Charisma saving throws, so his total Cha saving throw should be +1, shouldn't it? The sheet is still listing it as -1. I'm new to 5E, so I may just be misinterpreting the rule.

I've tested a 1st Level Hill Dwarf Cleric and get the following:



The bottom two stats are Wis and Cha

You're correct, the bonus +2 to Charisma saves will result in an overall +1 for your Cha save (for character with a Cha of 9 (-1)). What version of Excel are you using, do you have any other adjustments to your save or Cha stat?

Question - The last time I updated characters using the update/conversion tool was to 1.40.
I want to update those characters to the latest (1.54) using the tool. However, it's not putting the values to the new character sheet.
Should I update to a lesser version of the sheet before moving up to 1.54?

I started over again and now it's calculating correctly. There's probably something somewhere else that I'm missing.

To confirm, no values at all are transferred from v1.40 Character to v1.54 Template when using the transfer tool (1.54)? I did some testing and found some issues with the Spellcasting sheet but the Start sheet is okay, can you try to post your 1.40 character here in this forum for testing (I don't have a 1.40, only a 1.41), or PM me

That would be correct. I thought I had it sorted when I saw that the file had no values in it (for whatever reason with Excel crashes and whatnot). So I tried with another character -- looks like from an earlier version of the sheet. That one didn't transfer either.

I'll include that file.
The latest transfer tool I have (apart from the 1.54) is 1.48.
