This book looks like it is going to be sweeeeet!!!! Sure, it's got a lot of reprinted stuff, but it's got enough new stuff to make it interesting. Besides, if you're like me and don't have Magic of Faerun, Faiths of Faerun, Lords of Darkness, etc. , it's a real bargain.

The saddest part of gaming, is when you grow jaded. :( I can't find ANYTHING on that list to interest me - even the fire knives stuff! All it is that I can see - unless I'm missing something - is 3.5 "tweaked" material from previous books.

Admittedly, it should come as little surprise, but I had hoped for a little more.

Ah, well - time to wait for Lone Wolf d20! :)

And again, thanks Arthur for the scoop! Has anyone submitted this to the front page yet?

I said that very same thing when Races and East came out and then I was impressed every time. So now I don't bother with that notion. :)

I just hope that the Psionic stuff is seemless with the 3.5 updated book. However it only seems to contain a single PrC... Which in all likelihood will be reprinted in the PsiHB 3.5... yippeee...or something.

Guess I'm like Henry. Jaded. This whole revision thing, I dunno...

The Spellcasting Prodigy feat is broken with 3.5 rules.

The new SP feat will be the same exept that it ONLY gives you bonus spells, nothing else. (The DC doesnt go up and you dont get any other benefit of the INT enhancement too)

I'm happy for a few of the PRC's, but I fear they will suck.
I hope the Zhentarim Spy will be as bad ass my own Zhentarim Spy PrC:

this is not the latest version but it's about what I expect. It should be ranger oriented and less whimpy and rogueish so that it can be used as BBEG....

Wow. Loads of regurgitation, and only a few new things (though what is new looks good).

A definite no-buy for me... I can only handle so much regurgitation.

Interesting list. Let's see what we can squeeze out of it...

Chapter 8: The Cosmology of Toril xx
Nice! :)

Chapter 7: Epic Levels in Faerûn xx
Chapter 10: Psionics, Exalted Deeds, and Vile Darkness xx
Good to see that they offer these options for GMs and players wanting to use those books. :)

Appendix: Monster Update xx
FORGOTTEN REALMS Campaign Setting Monsters xx
Monstrous Compendium: Monsters of Faerûn Monsters xx
That will propably be something like the update booklet. To bad they don't offer it for free. :(

Overall, seems like there is enough new material to tempt someone to purchase the book. The main focus however is the R3E update, but that is what the book was written for anyway. It is obviously not a book for those who dislike the revisions.
