Happens a lot to me... And with books, too... If I read about some dish in a book, there is a good chance I'll try to fix it that day or as soon as I can get the ingredients together... Sometimes just to see what it would be like.
I've found that the Redwall books by Brian Jaques are the hardest to read without getting a craving. When he describes the food prepared for one of the Abbey's feasts, I'm dieing.

The recipie sections in the Leaves of the Inn of Last Home series of books ruled!
I loved that too. I always wanted to make a bunch of the DL recipes and have a party before or during a game. Maybe a D&D banquet LARP style.
