Founding of a Guild (4e)

"I can't say for sure," Oak replied. "I see no sign of him. Since we would probably know by now if he betrayed us, that leaves the possibility that something has happened to him. That something could be lizardfolk, or it could be that beast in the clearing. The only way to be sure about the beast would be to cut it open and look."

"We should remember that poor Sylas can't defend himself quite the way he could in the past... We have a responsibility to help him."

"Good points. If this creature did get Sylas, the least we can do is avenge him. And even if this creature didn't attack Sylas, it might be a pet of the goblin we're looking for."

If it's a pet of the goblin, it might not be alone after all, Isdar points out. We should all be working to keep our eyes open for other combatants as we close in on the beast.

[sblock=ooc] On a side note, Atanatotatos, how are you handling the changes to stealth? D&DI is now saying that you need superior cover or concealment to use stealth, seriously limiting the number of stealth opportunities, and hurting the ranged rogue build.

To be an effective striker (and get the bonus damage), Isdar is going to have to shift back to a more melee-oriented combatant if we use these changes. He'll keep his crossbow, but he's much more likely to use daggers and try to close in to attack. [/sblock]

[sblock=ooc] Heh. Haven't decided yet about stealth. For now, consider cover/concealment sufficent, with a -2 penalty; but not allies. It's a temporary solution, I'll read about it on the forums for a while and see what's the general impression...
So, what do you want to do here guys? [/sblock]
