D&D 5E Foundry Gets Official D&D Support

Joining Roll20, Fantasy Grounds, and WotC’s own VTT plans, the Foundry virtual tabletop is getting official D&D support. You can se their announcement video below.


This will give yet another way to play D&D and that's some very good news.

Wonder news for Foundry!! I am glad a customer friendly VTT with an active and open developer community is continuing to expand!!

EDIT: while I do not play 5e, I hope this is a strong signal that WoTC will commit to OGL and open gaming and is a sign they will continue to embrace the openness of TTRPGs.

With all the grumbly stuff going on, this is some great news. I've used Roll20, Fantasy Grounds, Maptool, and am currently using Foundry. All are great ways to play D&D when you can't have people over in person.

While not relevant for me personally, I'm still glad to see Foundry finally has official support. It certainly is relevant to a larger portion of the userbase.
