For a change on the Orcs, I would just use Hobgoblins instead. There is even a sizable tribe(city) called Doomspire listed in that region, so it is in-line with existing materials. I think the alignment of LE makes for a stronger, more militaristic set of foes as well.

I think this would be the order I'd use for replacing the drow:

Githyanki, Mind Flayers, and Deepspawn

Replacement orc hordes: Hobgoblins, Quaggoths, Tannruuks, Meazels.

Just a few idears.

Have you considered duergar or derro?

The poor cousins of the drow could use some exposure.

I prefer the greater cousins, Illithids, Githyanki, and most definitely deepspawn.
