What wizards have in mind when make the new Frenzied Berserker?

Supreme power attack with two-handed weapons deal 4 times the damage for each -1 in attack.

On the plus side, he's almost guranteed to kill another party member or two more than a few times.

Put him up against a Swashbuckler Duellist and watch him wear himself out.

Four times the damage per -1?

Wow, that is impressive.

If you took just -5 on the attack roll, you could do over a thousand times as much damage.

*frenzied berserker attacks bugbear fighter*
*rogue moves to flank and sneak attacks bugbear fighter who dies*
*frenzied berserker looks around for enemies, but seeing none attacks the rogue*
*one five foot step and 50 damage later, dead rogue*

My players refuse to take this class though.

Bar 1/Cleric (Kord) 11

The Minotaur is a freak out berserker, recently converted to the worship of Kord. The Cleric, with the help of the sanctuary spell, keeps his leash. They fight crime!

I was thinking more along the lines of calm emotion or whatever its called nowadays. That would protect more than the cleric at least.

And if he's a cavalier with unstoppable charge, for every -1 to hit with a lance he does +20 damage

Barbarians is too overpowered in 3.5.

And archers nerfed!
