Frenzied Beserker PrC question

That is just brutal....the NPC i am creating will have a +10 to his strength with the frenzy rage stacked. And considering the improved power attack (+3 for every 1 point penalty when weilding a a 2 handed weapon), die hard feat and deathless frenzy the PrC seems a bit over the top. But i do have to say that that is one angry bad ass Orog beserker

Try a Barbarian/Bear Warrior/Warshaper/Frenzied Berzerker. By 20th level, it'll recieve a +30 to strength and a +12 to constitution when raging and frenzying. If you really want to be silly, make its alignment good give it Sacred Vow and Vow of Poverty from the Book of Exalted Deeds.

My biggest problem with this PrC? How in the heck do they get to higher levels? I mean, seriously: they pretty much self-destruct in their first major combat.

It takes some serious thinking to get around this....

the NPC i have in mind is not evil, but rather very simple and loyal. He is considers one of the "evil" NPCs to his true friend (which is actually the case as well) (the NPC is a high level cleric, who always takes precautionary measures to counter the rage just in case...of course, he might end up getting whacked by his good friend...lets see what happens in game play).

I agree with you Sejs, but unfortunately that makes for one unfun campaign.

Well, noone is forced to play a FB... at least in my games.

...and since they're seen as enemies, no wussing out and pulling your punches. Nothing bugs me more, personally speaking, than a FB that does everything in their power to flub their own attack rolls once they turn on their friends. Full power attack, fighting defensivly, using non-proficient weapons and so on

Full Power Attack !?!
The last FB I've seen used a Scythe. Her hitting with a Critical was bad enough without using Power Attack. She even killed the other Barbarian in the party with one (critical) hit before coming out of frenzy, but that was just because he rolled a natural 1 on his massive damage roll
