Interesting episode.

Maybe it's just me, but I'm having a hard time figuring out what this show is trying to be anymore.

While I'm not a huge fan of dark sci-fi, it feels like the show has gotten much lighter. What happened to The Pattern? Walter seems to be more quirky than disturbed. I get the feeling they're trying to be X-Files, the next generation but are struggling with figuring out how to do it.

This was a good episode. I think Walter was purposely trying to be more quirky so the others wouldn't realize he was on his own little mission.

edit: Also, it's odd because it never occurred to me to think there was only one observer so I was surprised by their assumption.

It was a good episode. I think Walter's been going down the quirky path for a couple of episodes now. This one seemed to have more (like it's being accumulated). I'm more curious as to where they want to take this show. It's not in danger of falling off my "watch" list.

Also, I did think there was only one observer.

I thought it was amusing that in editing they didn't catch the Canadian flag in the background of the amusement park (the PNE in real life), because I don't recall Olivia saying they were going to Canada for a day.

Maybe the Boston Bruins were playing one of the Canadian teams that night and the amusement park was honoring (hounoring) them. :D
