So, I just picked up a CD that has a remix of Real Life's "God Tonight" on it; a minor hit from 1989 or early 1990. At one point during the remix, there's a sampled section of speech where someone with a James Earl Jones-esque voice is being God, talking about how his jobs not as easy as it sounds. At the end of the spiel, he says, "Couldn't I just send you an angel instead?"

Made me laugh. Of course, if you didn't remember that Real Life's one actual honest-to-God hit in their career was the song "Send Me an Angel" it probably wouldn't be very funny...

There's a song by Anberlin that goes "Boys speak in rhythm and girls in code" and then later goes, "Boys speak in rhythm and girls just lie."

... I'm not going to say that I agree with it because I'd get into trouble, but it's just funny.
