Ah, fun stuff.

Gotta say I disagree with the reviewer I linked to earlier -- he said it had no plot; I felt there was a little too much plot and not quite enough silliness.

I did like how they felt very little need to explain anyone's backstory -- they gave the viewer enough credit to either remember the basics (and reward those who remember more) or go out and rent/borrow/buy the DVDs of the original episodes.

Got mine at Shopko for about $17 myself.

I have watched it a couple of times now and I have to say the convoluted time travel plot does reward multiple viewings.

Good question, and no idea. I vaguely recall hearing something in the DVD commentary that implied we would be seeing the 3rd movie "a year from now" (meaning a year from Nov 2007) -- which implies we'll see #2 sometime maybe this summer.
