Game of DEEAAATH?

Y'know, the last Game of Death that was tried went Kerplunk.

I'm wondering when the next one will happen. Any takers? :D I can't run it, but sure as heck want to join in!

I'd love to run another, but the amount of time and dedication required is staggering. It's like having a child because you think babies are cute... and by the time you realize what you've committed to, it's too late: 18 years of your life picking up socks and putting up with Reapersaurus's "technically, I shouldn't have died" e-mails. :D

A Game of Death is a big fun ENboards event where ten players duke it out to the last man via e-mail and posted actions. A DM keeps a webpage with a map and positions, and also keeps track of hit points, invisible opponents. and hazards of the terrain.

I'm happy to say I ran the first GoD... here's the map (showing the last round of combat- Green Slime wins!): http://www.dr-midnight.com/kotsq/battlemap.htm

Doc - at least get it right - it was me posting that you objected to. ;)
I just checked - the only emails I sent were quite nice.

It's not my fault you made such a huge mistake in allowing a Wand of Death that single-handedly could have killed every single participant into the Game. :D

But it was the first one, and mistakes were bound to be made.

The real problem with the Games is the ridiculous amount of time it takes for the particpants to finally get agressive and kill off someone.

I still hold out hope that one day there will be an hour of time scheduled in the chat room where a Game of Death goes down - whoever shows, plays.
