That soon? GRRM must have really picked up the pace.
He did. then he slowed down again to work on a coloring book.. So I'll correct my previous statement:

"My guess is that it'll be in book six, which will be finally finished a year after Martin dies and a writer that can write more than three words a year is allowed to finish it. The quality of the book wont matter as the series will have already provided all the spoilers for the books, and no one will care by that time any way."

I'm telling you, time to hire Brandon Sanderson. That guy can imitate a style and crank out some text. We'll be done in two years.

Melisandre is no where near Castle Black in the books, so while the showrunners might well use her for that, it's very unlikely in the books.

*** BOOK SPOILER REGARDING THEON AND SANSA ***

And, in the books, regarding Theon and Sansa (though the role Sansa's playing in the show was a different character in the books), they're jumping into a giant snowdrift, not to their deaths.

I had sort of assumed Sansa and Theorn were jumping into a snowdrift. I feel like nothing would have been spoiled if they would have shown that instead of jumping to oblivion.

And it sucks that Stannis sacrificing his daughter didn't even actually do anything. Like, "Yay, my daughter sacrificed her life just so I could march faster to my own!" And she must have seen that future since she ducked out before the march. So much for her assurance of his victory...

Whatever. Quite frankly, I don't see how it's possible to enjoy Season 5. Forget about it being a bad adaptation (which it is), it's just bad TV, period.
