Gamers and their other hobbies

I've had this theory for awhile, and I thought that this would be a pretty good place to test its validity. The theory: There is a cluster of related hobbies and interests that most gamers share, at least to a certain extent.

This might be old hat, or even self-evident to some, but I think it's an interesting idea. Based on my own highly non-scientific observations, it holds up pretty well.
