1964, here.

The Baby Boom was 1945-1963. Some texts have it from 1945-1964.
Generation X therefore started in 1964 or 1965. Those on the cusps of such "generations" rarely identify with either. I certainly don't think of myself as either a Boomer (old farts) or a Gen-X'er (nihilist slackers).
